Beaphar Wormer Birds oiseaux et poulets

Beaphar's wormer is intended for birds suffering from worm infections (roundworms and hairworms). The treatment should only be applied once the young birds have fledged and left the nest.

The product is available in two different variants (10 or 100 ml):

Beaphar Wormer - 100 ml

Drops for oral administration Suitable for cage birds, aviary birds, and parrot-like birds Do not use during growth, breeding season, or molting Do not administer to sick or weakened animals

Dosage in drinking water

Beaphar Wormer 100 ml is suitable for dosing in drinking water.

Remove water for bathing Dilute 7.5 ml of the product in 250 ml of water (30 ml per liter of drinking water), dose drinking water as needed Provide this solution for 24 hours, as the sole drinking water for all present birds Repeat treatment after 2 weeks

Active ingredient

Levamisole (10 mg/ml)

Note

Depending on the severity of the infection, dead worms may still be found in the bird droppings after treatment.

Side Effects

In rare cases, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, dizziness, headache, restlessness, and excessive salivation may occur. If any of these symptoms are observed, stop administering the product and wait a few days before resuming treatment. If severe symptoms occur, please contact your veterinarian.
